Requirements

.NET 10 or later
Any platform .NET runs on - Papyra contains no native code

Install the package

dotnet add package Papyra

The single Papyra package contains the document model, the layout engine, and all four renderers (PDF, DOCX, XLSX, HTML). There is nothing else to install.

Optional: the companion and designer apps

The companion app is a separate desktop application that shows a live preview of your documents while you develop. The designer app is a second, standalone desktop tool for composing a report visually and getting the equivalent C# back. Both are currently in beta - usable, but with rough edges. Neither is required at runtime, and neither ships with your application. Prebuilt downloads for Windows, macOS, and Linux are on each guide’s page (companion downloads, designer downloads), or run either with dotnet run --project.
